What is an Artrepinoy?

Artrepinoy is a freelance Pinoy artist with an entrepreneurial mindset and who is able to create a marriage between art and business. The word Artrepinoy is derived from the combination of 2 words - Art and Entrepinoy (Entrepinoy means Pinoy Entrepreneur). This is a new word coined by Crafteli Company (maker of Willixsports).

Artists are different breed of people who's got entrepreneurial passion. They think of new ideas. They receive criticisms for their ideas. They meet resistance. They convince people. They work late at night when other people are already resting. Most artists hate an 8-to-5 work. Half the time they don't even know if they are going to succeed, and very few of them actually make a name.

Since 2013, Crafteli Company has partnered with some artists who became designers and marketing arms (as ODM and brand partners) for custom Willix sportswear. Our first batch of Artrepinoys got their first million sooner than expected, enabling them to live comfortably as full-time Artrepinoys.

The Artrepinoy formula revolves around PLAY. Yes, it may sound simplistic. But it really worked and helped more Artrepinoys become millionaires.

There is truth to the old saying that "All work and no PLAY makes Jack a dull boy." Here is another version applicable to artists:  "All work and no PLAY makes Jack a poor artist". No matter how much effort you put into your work, it may not assure you of financial success if the elements of PLAY do not exist. PLAY here does not mean leisure activities. It means more than that.

Like in all successful businesses, a great product is an essential ingredient. It must not be a fad. It must be product serving a need of specific target market in a growing industry.

The product we are offering to Artrepinoys is a customized or made-to-order sublimated sportswear for all types of sports and activities. You may not be aware but the reality is that sportswear is a big market worldwide at around Php 11 Trillion and growing at Php 600 Billion annually. Under this big segment is the customized segment or teamwear. See this link. And the latest technology that has been proven to dominate this segment is the sublimation technology.

Customized sublimated sportswear/teamwear involves a lot of graphic design, making it one of the biggest business for graphic artists. Without artists, custom sublimated teamwear can not be manufactured.

Willix custom sublimated teamwear is a joint effort between the Artrepinoys and Crafteli Company. The Artrepinoys provide the design (as required by the customer) and Crafteli provides the technology and processes to manufacture the product. Crafteli Company's competitive advantage is its ability to provide quality product at competitive prices.

Training of Artrepinoys

Our 2016 MILLIONAIRES PLAY program will focus on giving free training to all Artrepinoy-applicants. The training modules will include:

• Basic design techniques for custom sublimated sportswear
• Basic online marketing approaches for custom sublimated sportswear.
• Promoting Artrepinoys' services in social media and free websites
• Managing customer relations
• Interphase management among Crafteli, Artrepinoys, and the customers.
